Care
Time and love invested in looking after your Dromarti will ensure they have a long life and take on the beautiful patina which only natural leather can.
Regular conditioning of the uppers and padded leather linings is a vital part of this process.
- NEVER force dry wet shoes with heat. Allow to dry in a well ventilated place at ambient temperature.
- Clean shoes with a damp cloth or soft brush.
- Regularly condition shoes with a wax and oil based leather dressing, including the padded linings around the heel and collars. Standard shoe polish can be used to add shine or restore colour, but provides very little necessary nourishment or protection.
- Little and often pre-emptive care is by far the best approach. Don't wait until they look dry or cracked - it's probably too late!
